Building our future

Gathering expertise to discuss overlapping themes and regional growth strategies for a sustainable Metro Vancouver region

The Research Roundtable will gather expertise and generate discussion on leading research, best practices, local constraints, and design-based indicators in six theme areas: food, energy, mobility, water, natural habitat, and economy. The products from the Roundtable will inform the continuing development of the new Regional Growth Strategy, and subsequent SxD research, including a Sustainable Metro Vancouver Region 2050 Design Charette, that will be held in summer 2010.

Participants have been invited from all levels of government, private industry, academia, and community service organizations to achieve a balanced representation of interests and expertise.
